Using Footage

Footage Sales - Commercial Use and Broadcast

Parts of the Shetland Film Archive’s collection will be available for reuse for broadcast, but this will be subject to copyright clearance. Individual requirements will be discussed with the customer to ensure the best footage available is identified to fit their brief.

Upon request, low resolution watermarked viewing copies will be made available to the broadcaster or film maker on DVD for research purposes only. When the required footage and format has been identified a licence agreement will be drawn up, and upon payment a high resolution copy will be transferred to the purchaser.
